National Facilities

The FTIR group at the University of Bremen builds and operates several National facilities, i.e. measurement stations.

The NF Bremen and the NF Ny Alesund are stationary and housed in buildings, The NF South America is housed in a 20 ft standard container, which is isolated and climatized. It also contains a LN2 generator.

Additionally we have a mobile measurement station (NF Mobile) which also consists of a 20 ft container, which is isolated. The NF Mobile is designed to be operated at harsh climate conditions, on research ships. It operates automatically and can also be remotely controlled.
