National facility MOBILE FTIR

The national facility Mobile FTIR consists of a Bruker 80V FT spectrometer. It is housed in a container, but can also used stand alone. The University of Bremen can provide devices which are necessary to operate the instrument. This includes

  1. IP equipment
  2. Equipment to provide dry air to operate and purge the instrument.
  3. The Uni Bremen provides assistence to set up the instrument.

Preliminary results
NH3 Cabauw

The diurnal variation of NH3 is readily observable . During night the amount of NH3 is low, because it is cool. When sun rises the NH3 is mobilized and emitted from soil.
